Could you make me look as beautiful as your models?
Believe it or not, they're not models. I don't hire models. My clients are everyday people just like you. They DO get a kick, however, from hearing that people think they're professional models.
Surprisingly, most clients warn me in advance that they're not very photogenic and don't have the beauty of those they've seen on my site. Fact is, after their session they usually tell me I can post one or more of their pictures in my online gallery for the whole world to see. My entire gallery is made up of these very people.
Where is your studio located?
I don't maintain a studio. I prefer the honesty of real environments and natural backdrops so I always try to conduct the sessions in my clients own homes or out in nature somewhere. I'll travel anywhere my clients want to shoot. I, personally, live in Davis County, Utah.
How do I order prints and how much are they?
Once you've received your digital proofs you can actually print them yourself if you like, as you'll have the same hi-res files I have. However, I'm happy to do it for you if you prefer.
Just send me an email stating the file names, the dimensions you want them printed at, and the media to print on (paper, canvas, etc). I'll have them ready for you in just a few days. Prints, as always, must be paid for at time of ordering.
To give you an idea of the pricing, a 5x7 is just $5. A standard 8x10 is $10. A large 24x36 print will be about $40 (or $80 on canvas). I can even stretch a canvas 24x36 over a frame for an extra $120. There are other sizes and prices, of course, but that gives you a basic idea of what to expect.
I don't want my pics used online. Is that okay?
Absolutely. Your privacy is of paramount importance to me. Nothing of your session is seen or shared with anyone other than yourself unless you give me specific permission to do so (like posting on this site as an example of my work) and even then you reserve the right to change your mind at any time.
Can my boudoir session include my friend/partner?
Yes. Since all sessions are collaborations between myself and the client, I'm open to helping them accomplish most anything they want from me. To add a second person to your boudoir session is an additional fee of $150.
I have a specific concept in mind. Can you help?
It's your session so anything you want goes. I encourage all my clients to do their session without any hair styling or makeup. Finding your natural beauty is the primary focus in my work, but it's all up to you and what you have in mind. I place no limitations on my clients' creativity and vision. If you simply want a collaborator to brainstorm with and capture your ideas for you, that's what I love doing most!
Do you only do sessions locally?
I'll go wherever my clients need me. The rates are the same no matter where a session takes place. For out of state shoots, the client simply covers my round-trip airfare in addition to their session fee.
What other kinds of photography do you do?
Though I'm mostly occupied with intimate (boudoir) portraiture, I'm occasionally asked to do other types (senior portraits, weddings, bridals, headshots, family portraits, business portraits, pets, travel, and once even food for a nice restaurant). Email me at firstname.lastname@example.org for rates for these kinds of sessions (or any other project you have in mind).
Portraits exhibited on this site are done so with the permission of the clients pictured.
